Michael Gallo, owner and principal consultant, has over 20 years of experience supporting capital investment decision making in the federal sector including forecasting, modeling, assessment and review, proposal support, and training. Mr. Gallo uses a multi-disciplinary approach that draws on concepts, theories, and techniques from accounting, finance, economics, operations research, statistics, engineering, and management science to provide unique value added services to clients.
Mr. Gallo helped program managers successfully define, articulate, and defend their program budget requirements. He has helped senior decision makers ensure programs were adequately funded. Through development of improved tools and methodologies, Mr. Gallo has helped organizations, charged with oversight responsibilities, improve their functional expertise to forecast capital resource requirements and assess program budgets. As CFO of a professional services organization, he has applied his analytical and modeling expertise to improve financial forecasting, business development, project execution, and business decisions.
Prior to founding Valerisys Consulting, LLC in 2012, Mr. Gallo worked for over 11 years with Technomics Inc, as a senior consultant, program manager, division manager, and CFO. Mr. Gallo spent the first 10 years of his career working first as an operations research analyst in the Department of the Navy and then as a senior analyst and manager at TASC, Inc. Mr. Gallo has supported numerous engagements with the U.S. Navy, U.S Marine Corps, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, Office of Secretary of Defense, Defense Information Systems Agency, General Accountability Office, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, and various organizations within the U.S. intelligence community.
Mr. Gallo holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
